About Ayaiya

Ayaiya (pronounced “Ah-yah-yah”) means “it is beautiful” in the Ibibio, Efik and Annang languages of Akwa Ibom and Cross River States in Nigeria.

It is the idea behind everything I make: handcrafted pieces and creations, made by hand and made to be loved. From beaded jewellery to custom cakes, each Ayaiya creation is made with colour, care and a story.

The Radiant Heritage Collection carries that story furthest, with pieces named and given meaning in the same languages that inspired the brand.
